Background

The main investor of Zhehua Investment Company (Ltd.), Zhejiang is Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang, which is jointly established by Tsinghua University and the government of Zhejiang Province.

Strategy

In the way of venture capital, Zhehua’s business is centered on the commercialization of the patented national and international hi-tech applications of its research and development within Yangtze Delta region. The main industry areas include: environment and environment protection, bio-pharmaceuticals, new energy and IT. With its background of Tsinghua University in the strengths of education resources, Zhehua also provides vocational education and training, and co-international education.

Strengths

Zhehua is based in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, which is the center of Yangtze Delta region, currently the hottest spot of Chinese economy. Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Ningbo are situated around Jiaxing within 2 hours transportation by rail or freeway. Jiaxing also links the world through its ports and canals.     
With the support from the government of Zhejiang Province and Tsinghua University, Zhehua obtained unique strengths in technologies, resources, policy, talents and investment which enhance Zhehua’s competition advantages in the venture capital industry.

Management

Dr. Lvjun Chen is the Executive Director of Zhehua. He is a practitioner with many years experience in enterprise management, capital management, public relation management and marketing, and also a professor in the Department of Environment Science and Engineering of Tsinghua University.
